How to Calculate FUDMA Post UTME Aggregate Score 2024

The aggregate score for admission into Federal University Dutsin-Ma, Katsina (FUDMA) is calculated using the following formula:

Aggregate Score = (UTME Score/8) + (Post UTME Score) + (O’level Average Grade)

Where:

  • UTME Score is the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination score
  • Post UTME Score is the score obtained in the FUDMA post-UTME screening test
  • O’level Average Grade is the average grade obtained in the five best O’level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics

The O’level Average Grade is calculated by multiplying the point value of each grade by the number of subjects with that grade and then dividing the sum by the number of subjects. The point values for each grade are as follows:

  • A1 = 7
  • B2 = 6
  • B3 = 5
  • C4 = 4
  • C5 = 3
  • D6 = 2
  • E7 = 1

For example, if a candidate has the following O’level grades:

  • English Language = A1
  • Mathematics = B2
  • Physics = B3
  • Chemistry = C4
  • Biology = C5

The O’level Average Grade would be calculated as follows:

O'level Average Grade = (7 + 6 + 5 + 4 + 3) / 5 = 5

Therefore, the aggregate score for admission into FUDMA would be calculated as follows:

Aggregate Score = (UTME Score/8) + (Post UTME Score) + 5
