Nigerian Universities Offering Aeronautical Engineering

Aeronautical and Astronautic Engineering is a five (5) years course in Nigerian universities.

Aerospace Engineering is a lucrative course for students who want to build a career in aerospace engineering.

Aeronautical engineering is a branch of engineering concerned with constructing aircraft like aeroplanes and helicopters.

There are two (2) core aspects of aerospace engineering;

  • Aeronautical Engineering
  • Astronautical Engineering

Aeronautical Engineering in Nigeria is a new career option for students. Unlike other engineering disciplines, Aeronautical Engineering is new in Nigerian Universities.

Nigerian Universities Offering Aeronautical Engineering

According to the JAMB IBASS, there are only two (2) universities in Nigeria that are accredited to run the Aeronautical Engineering programme. They are;

  • Lagos State University (LASU)
  • Afe Babalola University (ABUAD)
