5: SECURITYALERT

To mitigate the Security threat posed by the on- going construction of the ceremonial road, the Vice Chancellor approved the erection of a Security Iron bar on the road. This will reduce illegal access into the University Main Campus. The iron-bar will be locked by 6 pm daily; the Main Gate should be used anytime after 6 pm to facilitate appropriate security checks.

7: 2020/2021 RESUMPTION PROTOCOL AND PROCEDURE OF REGISTRATION FOR FRESH STUDENTS

Congratulations and welcome to Federal UniversityOye-Ekiti. For a successful and seamless registration process, kindly note the following guidelines

KeyTime lines

  • 16th August 2021 – Online screening of Fresh students begins
  • 23rd August, 2021 – Medical Screening of fresh students begins
  • 30th August, 2021  – Resumption and registration begin
  • 1st Sept to 3rd Sept, 2021 – Orientation for fresh students
  • 6th September, 2021 – Lecture begins for fresh students
  • 20th September, 2021 – Registration ends for fresh students
  • 15th October, 2021 – Matriculation

Procedure

  • All candidates shall register for the programme for which they are admitted
  • Students are to be  registered and documented at the department upon presentation of the screening clearance,  Receipts of acceptance fee and school fee  payments and all other relevant credentials/documents;

                          i.         JAMB admission letter

                         ii.         University Admission Letter

                       iii.         SSCE/IJMB/A level Results

                       iv.         Birth Certificate

                        v.         Completed Bio-data Form

                       vi.         Letter of Attestation (Duly signed by Parent)

                     vii.         Guarantor’s Letter (Duly signed by Clergy, Officers from grade level 13 and above)

                    viii.         Court Affidavit of Good Conduct

                       ix.         Medical Report (from University Health Centre)

  • After clearance and documentations at the department, students are to proceed on online course registration. Level advisers should guide and counsel the students on the courses to register.
  • Online course forms to be signed and stamped by the HODS
  • Only students that complete the online registration and submitted relevant documents at the  department and faculty  office  are considered duly registered and therefore qualify for matriculation.

9: DURATION AND REQUIREMENTS FOR SANDWICH PROGRAMMES

B.Sc (ED) AGRICULTURE: 4 YEAR DEGREE CONTACT 
Five (5) O’level passes at SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB/TC II at credit level, which must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Agriculture Science and Chemistry. 
Candidate also must possess any of: 

  • NCE Merit pass in Agriculture Science; 
  • A’ level passes in two of Agriculture Science/Biology, and Chemistry; or
  • OND in Agriculture Science

B.Sc (Ed) AGRICULTURAL SCIENCE EDUCATION: 5 YEAR

Candidates must possess 5 O’level credit passes which must include Biology/Agriculture Science, Chemistry, Mathematics and English Language.

B.Sc (Ed) BUSINESS EDUCATION: 4 YEAR

Five (5) O’level credit passes which must include English Language, 
Mathematics, Economics and any other two subjects at not more than two sittings. Candidate also must possess any of A merit pass in NCE in Business Education, Secretarial Studies. 

B.Sc (Ed) BUSINESS EDUCATION: 5 YEAR

Five (5) O’level credit passes which must include English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two subjects at not more than two sittings.

B.Sc (Ed) ECONOMICS 4 YEAR

At least five (5) O’level credit which must include English Language, 
Mathematics, Economics and any other two Social Science subjects. Candidate also must possess any of: 

  • Merit pass and above passes in Economics and any relevant Social Science subject 
  • A’level passes in Economics and one Social Science subject with a grade not less than 4 points. 

B.Sc (Ed) ECONOMICS: 5 YEAR CONTACT 

At least five (5) O’level credit which must include: English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two Social Science subjects.

B.A.Ed. ENGLISH:  4 YEAR

Five (5) O’level credit passes which must include English Language, Literature in English and three other subjects from Arts and Social Sciences with at least a pass in Mathematics. Candidate also must possess any of: 

  • NCE in two Arts subjects one of which must be Literature in English. 
  • A’ level passes in two Arts subjects which must include Literature in English with a grade not lower than 11 points. 

B.A.Ed. ENGLISH: 5 YEAR

Candidates must possess five (5) O’Level subjects at not more than two sittings which must include English Language, Literature in English, two other subjects in Arts/Social Sciences with a pass in Mathematics.

 B.Sc (Ed) BIOLOGY 4 YEAR

At least merit pass and above at NCE in either chemistry or Geography in addition to the UTME requirement of 5 credits in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry or Geography and Biology. 

B.Sc (Ed) BIOLOGY 5 YEAR

5 O’level credit passes at SSCE/NECO/NABTEB/GCE which should include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry or Geography and Biology and one other subjects.

B.Sc (Ed) CHEMISTRY 4 YEAR

Five (5) O’level credit passes at SSCE/NECO/NABTEB or its equivalent which must include: English Language, Mathematics and Chemistry. Candidate also must possess any of: 

  • Merit pass in Chemistry Education at NCE. 
  • A level passes which must include Chemistry. 

B.Sc (Ed) CHEMISTRY 5 YEAR

5 O’level credit passes in SSCE/NECO/NABTEB or its equivalent which must include: English Language, Mathematics and Chemistry.

B.Sc. Ed. EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY: 4 YEAR

Candidates should possess five (5) O’Level credits which should include English Language, Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry and any other two subjects at not more than two sittings. Candidate also must possess any of: 

  • At least Merit pass in NCE: Technical Education or its equivalent. 
  • OND with Upper credit in Technical Education. 
  • A level passes in any combination of Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry with a grade not below 4 points. 

B.Sc. Ed. EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY: 5 YEAR

Candidates for admission into the programme should possess 5 O’level credit or its equivalent which must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry and any other two subjects at not more than two sittings.

B.Sc. Ed. HEALTH EDUCATION: 4 YEAR

Five (5) credit passes in O’level at not more than two sittings to include English Language, Mathematics, Biology and any other two subjects. The candidate also must possess any of: 

  • Merit pass at NCE in Health Education.

B.Sc. Ed. HEALTH EDUCATION: 5 YEAR  

Five (5) O’level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology and any other two subjects at not more than two sittings.


B.Sc. Ed. HUMAN KINETICS EDUCATION: 4 YEAR
 Five (5) O’level passes at credit in English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Health Science/Integrated Science and any other two at not more than two sittings. Candidate also must possess any of: 

  • NCE in Physical and Health Education with Education.


B.Sc. Ed. HUMAN KINETICS: 5 YEAR

Five (5) O’level credits in English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Health Science/Integrated Science and any other two subjects.a
