Students who applied for admission can now check the departmental cut off mark for their courses to determine their chances for admission.
There are two types of cut off marks for students applying to study at Ladoke Akintola University (LAUTECH);
- Merit cut-off mark
- Catchment cut-off mark
The merit cut-off mark is for all students applying to study at LAUTECH, while the catchment cut-off mark is for students from any of the university catchment areas.

The catchment state for Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) is Oyo State. This means that candidates from Oyo State have a higher chance of being admitted to the university than candidates from other states.
In the past, LAUTECH was jointly owned by Oyo and Osun states, but Oyo State now owns the university solely. As a result, candidates from Osun State are no longer considered catchment candidates.
