FULAFIA Admission Requirements

The admission requirements for Federal University Lafia (FULafia) may vary depending on the course and level of study (undergraduate or postgraduate).

However, here are the general admission requirements for undergraduate programs at FULafia:

  1. UTME Admission:
    • Candidates must have a minimum of five (5) credits at the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent, including English Language and Mathematics.
    • Candidates must sit for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and attain the prescribed cut-off mark for their chosen course.
    • Candidates must also participate in the Post-UTME screening exercise conducted by FULafia.
  2. Direct Entry Admission:
    • Candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) credits at the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent, including English Language and Mathematics.
    • Candidates must have obtained at least two (2) A-level passes or their equivalent in relevant subjects for their chosen course.
    • Candidates must also meet the university’s specific requirements for direct entry admission.

It is important to note that meeting the minimum admission requirements does not guarantee automatic admission into FULafia, as admission is competitive and subject to the availability of spaces.

For postgraduate programs, the admission requirements may include possessing a relevant bachelor’s degree with a minimum grade requirement, submitting academic transcripts, letters of recommendation, a statement of purpose, and possibly sitting for an entrance examination or interview.
