The Senate of the Federal University of Technology Akure FUTA has approved the academic calendar for the 2022/2023 Academic Session.

- Sunday, 28th May, 2023 – Registration Portal Opens
- Monday, 5th June, 2023 – Registration Continues & Lectures Commence
- Monday, 12th June, 2023 – Democracy Day
- Monday, 19th June, 2023 – Late Registration Commences
- Thursday, 29th -Friday 30th June, 2023 – Id -el- Kabir Break
- Monday, 3rd July, 2023 – Late Registration Ends
- Thursday, 13th-Saturday, 15th July, 2023- Mid Semester Break
- Monday, 17th July, 2023 – Lectures Resume
- Friday, 18th August, 2023 – Lectures End
- Monday, 21st – Friday, 25th August, 2023 – Lectures Free Week
- Monday, 28th August,-Friday, 15th September, 2023 – First Semester Examinations
- Saturday, 16th – Saturday, 23rd September, 2023- Inter Semester Break
