Sani Bello Foundation Scholarship Undergraduate Scholarship 2024

The Sani Bello Foundation Scholarship Programme is established to provide financial assistance to tertiary institution students in Nigeria who face challenges in paying their school fees.

This initiative is part of the broader efforts of the Sani Bello Foundation to support education in the country.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Applicant MUST be a registered student in a known tertiary institution within Nigeria and MUST be a full time student. Part time applicants are not eligible.
  2. Applicant from private institution or foreign institution/country is not eligible.
  3. Applicant must be in his/her second year at the time of application.
  4. Applicant must possess a minimum qualification of FIVE (5) credits in either WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB including MATHS & ENGLISH LANGUAGE not more than two sittings.
  5. Applicants must possess minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 .
  6. Applicant MUST be a full time student. Part time applicants are not eligible.
  7. Civil servants are not eligible.
  8. Applicant MUST possess original copies of; birth certificate or Declaration of Age, Local Government Indigene Letter, O.level result, and secondary school testimonial, Transcript or Result Statement duly signed and stamped from school stating previous session CGPA results clearly.
  9. Applicant MUST bring a copy of ALL credentials (as stated above), online registration printout, Admission letter, School Identity printout or valid means of school identification and photocopy of departmental course registration forms on or before 1st of March, 2024.
  10. Applicant MUST be an Indigene within the Zone C, Niger State either by
    • Origin
    • Birth
    • Having parents/guardian stayed in Kontagora for 15 years and above
  11. Applicant’s screening begins on submition of documents as stated above. In view of this, applicants are advised to make documents submition in person.

Required Documents

Applicants must possess original copies of the following documents:

  • Birth certificate or Declaration of Age
  • Local Government Indigene Letter
  • O-level result
  • Secondary school testimonial
  • Transcript or Result Statement duly signed and stamped from school stating previous session CGPA results clearly.

Submission Deadline

Applicants must submit all required documents, along with a copy of their online registration printout, admission letter, school identity printout or valid means of school identification, and photocopy of departmental course registration forms, on or before the 1st of March, 2023.

Application Procedure

The screening process begins upon submission of the required documents. Therefore, applicants are strongly advised to submit their documents in person to ensure timely processing.

Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria and submit all required documents within the specified deadline will be considered for the Sani Bello Foundation Scholarship Programme.
