Applications are invited from qualified candidates, particularly practising journalists without any qualification in Journalism or Mass Communication for admission into the Professional Diploma Journalism (PDJ) Programme offered by the Department of Mass Communication, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.
The Programme is aimed at equipping journalists, especially those who have practised the profession for several years without any formal qualification in Journalism or Mass Communication, without the theoretical to remedy their deficiency.

Entry Qualification
At least five O’level credits obtained in not more than two sittings, including the English Language.
Duration of Programme
The (PDJ) is part of the programme that is expected to run for a minimum of three semesters of 18 calendar months.
Nature of Programme
The PDJ is a part-time programme in which participating Journalists will attend lectures two to three days a week between 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm to give them the freedom to attend to their daily professional assignments in the morning hours.
