Ekiti State Scholarship Board has announced the advertisement for Scholarship and Bursary Awards for the 2023/2024 academic session.
Free application forms for Undergraduate, HND, Post Graduate and Physically Challenged students are now available to prospective applicants at Ekiti State Scholarship Board, New Secretariat, Ado-Ekiti. All applicants should apply online through this website.
Date: 1st May to 15th June, 2023
Scholarship Requirements
- Applicants must be in 2nd year and above in their courses of study to be qualified for undergraduate Scholarship Awards. And must possess WASSCE/NECO, with a minimum of five Credits, including English Language and Mathematics, at a sitting. And minimum CGPA of 4.0 for University or the equivalent of a Second Class (Upper Division), 3.50 for Polytechnics and 3.50 for NCE in their current institutions of study
- Applicants for the Master’s Degree and PhD Scholarship Award must possess a minimum of 2nd Class (Upper Division) at the Undergraduate level. A grade of distinction in a Master’s Degree is an additional prerequisite for Ph.D Scholarship Award.
- For Ph.D Scholarship, any candidate with a first-degree certificate lesser than second class (Upper Division) and a distinction grade in master’s degree is not eligible. A letter of recommendation from the university is required.
- Physically Challenged Students in Tertiary Institutions (NCE, ND, College of Health Tech, School of Nursing/Midwifery. HND, and Post Graduates) are qualified forthe Scholarship Award
- Students on Part-Time and Sandwich Courses are NOT qualified for the Scholarship Awards
Deadline
DATE OF SUBMISSION: All prospective applicants must submit their hard copy application form (5) on or before FRIDAY 15Th June 2023.
The Board will not accept Late Application Forms (s).
