National Common Entrance Examination Form & Admission 2023

The National Common Entrance Examination for admission into Junior Secondary School (JSS 1) of Federal Government Unity Colleges will be held throughout the country and other interested foreign countries.

This is to inform all parents and guardians about the change in the National Common Entrance Examination registration process for 2022.

The NCEE Registration has commenced and will end on Saturday 23rd April 2022.

P.S Only final year pupils of primary schools who shall not be less than 10 years by September 2022 are eligible.

All Candidates are now required to choose a school from the six (6) geopolitical zones across the country.

NCEE Registration Requirements

Here are the requirements for registration for the national common entrance examination;

  • Only final year pupils of primary schools who shall not be less than 10 years by September 2022 are eligible.
  • All Candidates are now required to choose a school from the six (6) geopolitical zones across the country.
  • Parents and guardians must fill and complete the registration for their wards on the NCCE portal.
  • Pay four thousand and six hundred naira (₦4,600).

NCEE Registration Procedures

Here are the procedures on how to register for the national common entrance examination;

  1. Open your internet browser

    Launch your chrome or safari browser on your smartphonechrome browser

  2. Visit the NCEE registration portal

    Go to https://ncee.neco.gov.ng/ in your internet browserlogin to NCEE portal

  3. Click on Register Here

    Select the blue text saying Register Here to begin the application process

  4. Enter your personal information to create your Account

    Create an account by providing your valid email address, full name, phone number and passwordNCEE registration signup

  5. Click on Register

    Click on the blue bar to register your NCEE account

  6. Pay the registration fee

    Pay the registration fee using your ATM card online

  7. Fill in the application

    Enter the correct details to fill out the application form

  8. Submit your application

    Click on Submit

  9. Print your application slip

NCEE Examination Format

There are four (4) formats for the National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE);

  1. Quantitative and Vocational Aptitude
  2. Mathematics and Basic Science and Technology
  3. Verbal Aptitude
  4. English and National Values Education

NCEE Result Checker Portal

This is to notify the general public that the fee for the Result Checker token has now been updated and reviewed to six hundred and twenty-five naira (₦625) per token.

  1. Visit the NCEE result checker portal
  2. Select your Examination Year
  3. Select examinatin type as National Common Entrance Examination
  4. Enter your NCEE examination Registration Number
  5. Click on Check Result
