Nto Annang Foundation Baltimore Washington DC Chapter Scholarship 2024

This scholarship is awarded to Annang undergraduate students at Nigerian universities.

Applicants must be from Annang Local Government Area (Abak, Etim Ekpo, Essien Udim, Ika, Ikot.
Ekpene, Obot Akara, Oruk Anam, and Ukanafun).

If selected for an award, the amount is one hundred thousand naira (₦‎100,000).

All questions and documents an “*” must be answered. The completeness of your answers will allow for a comprehensive review of your application.

Eligibility Criteria

If you answer “yes” to these 3 questions, you are eligible for the NAF scholarship:

  1. Are you from the Annang land, with a certificate of origin from one of the 8 local government areas?
  2. Are you attending a university in Nigeria (polytechnic students are not eligible)?
  3. Are you a second, third, fourth or fifth-year Annang University undergraduate student with first-year or more academic results?

Application Procedures

  • Applications are DUE JULY 15, 2023.
  • There is no save feature to this online scholarship application form.
    • YOU CANNOT SAVE AND COME BACK TO SUBMIT THE FORM.
  • You must complete the application in one setting.
    • Please take time to look at the pdf version of the application to prepare your answers, write your essay, and gather all attachments. You can cut and paste your essay on the application.
  • Make sure you have saved and are ready to attach the following documents: most recent university results, letter of recommendation from the academic staff of your university, letter of recommendation from someone else, certification of origin, advance certificate/diploma (optional), high school certificate or standard test results (optional).
    • (*) means a response is required to submit the application

Scholarship Essay

Write an essay on your financial need for this scholarship; describe your current contributions to your community, especially where you served in a position of leadership; and describe how your career will help your community.

If you are a previous scholarship winner, include new contributions to your community since your last scholarship award.)
