  1. Pls my son just put in for this year’s JAMB and his 1st choice is OAU to study BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION. What are the o’level requirement for this course? And what score should he have in jamb that will make him stand a good chance for admission?

    Reply
    • Hello Mr Shay,

The O’level subject combination for Business Administration is Five (5) SSC credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Economics, plus any two (2) of Accounting, Business Methods, Commerce, Government, Geography, and Statistics.

He needs to target above 250 in JAMB to stand a good chance for admission.

Let me know if you have further questions.

  2. Hello, good afternoon.
Is banking and finance accredited in OAU?
Can you apply for DE in management and accounting if you studied Insurance during your ND program?

    Reply
    • Ife,

OAU does not offer Banking and Finance.

      Here is the direct entry requirement for Management & Accounting;

      (i) Upper Credit at ND/HND in Accounting, Banking & ‘Finance/Business Administration

      (ii) ATSWA (Final Stage)

(iii) ICAN or ACCA (Foundation Level)

(iv) Credit Passes at A’Level in which one must be in Economics or Accounting

      Reply
        • Unfortunately, as of today, February 4, 2024, there isn’t an “ATSWA final stage” admission process.

The Accounting Technicians Scheme West Africa (ATSWA) is a three-level program, where each level consists of four subjects. Upon successfully completing all three levels, you earn an AAT Certificate, not a final stage admission.

If you have any further questions about the ATSWA program or the admission process, let me know.
