Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the School of Nursing, University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, Calabar, for Basic Nursing Training.

Admission Requirements
Intending candidates must possess five (5) credits, not more than two sittings from SSCE or NECO in the following O’level subjects;
Only candidates aged between 17-35 years by November 2023 are eligible to apply.
The duration for the academic programmes is three (3) years at the School of Nursing of the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital (UCTH).
Application Procedures
Interested candidates are to pay a non-refundable sum of ₦20,000.00 to the UCTH School Fees/Charges Account through Remita drawn at any commercial bank on the Remita platform:
- Select Pay FGN & STATES TSA
- Select FGN
- Type University of Calabar Teaching Hospital
- Select School Fees/Charges
- Enter Code 1000187508
- Enter the amount and submit
Thereafter, the Remita printout/teller is exchanged for an official receipt at the UCTH Treasury, Permanent Site.
The official receipt will then be presented to the Provost, College of Nursing Sciences, UCTH, along Moniaca Road for collection of the application form.
Examination Dates
Closing Date for Application: Friday, 25th July, 2025
Aptitude Test Date: Friday, 1st August, 2025
Dates of Screening: Wednesday–Friday, 14th–16th August, 2025
