Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the School of Nursing, University of Calabar Teaching Hospital Calabar, for Basic Nursing Training.
Admission Requirements
Intending candidates must possess five (5) credits, not more than two sittings from SSCE or NECO in the following O’level subjects;
Only candidates aged between 17-35 years by November 2023 are eligible to apply.
The duration for the academic programmes is three (3) years at the School of Nursing of the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital (UCTH).
Application Procedures
Application forms are obtainable from the Office of the Principal, School of Nursing, University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, Moore Road, Calabar, from Wednesday, March 8th to Friday, May 5th 2023 (Subject to availability).
A non-refundable fee of ₦17,000 should be paid to the UNIVERSITY OF CALABAR TEACHING HOSPITAL COLLECTION ACCOUNT AT EKONDO MICROFINANCE BANK along Muritala Mohammed Highway, Account No: 1100757926.
After that, the teller is exchanged for an official receipt at the UCTH Treasury, Permanent site.
The official receipt will then be presented to the Principal of the School of Nursing, UCTH, along Moore Road, to collect the application forms.
Application Deadline
Completed Application Forms with Photocopies of relevant documents are to reach the Office of the Principal no later than Monday, 15th May 2023.
Examination Dates
Entrance Examination: The Entrance Examination will hold on Saturday, 19th May 2023, at Venue: School of Nursing Premises, Moore Road, and UCTH Permanent Site, Calabar
Time: 8:00 am prompt.
Oral Interview: Oral interviews for successful candidates will hold in UCTH Permanent
Site on a Date that will be communicated to candidates that pass the written examination only
