This is to notify the general public that the Federal University of Health Sciences, Azare, Bauchi State, has commenced admission into various undergraduate programmes offered in the institution for the 2023/2024 academic session.
The Federal University of Health Sciences, Azare is to produce High-Quality Health and Medical Professionals with broad knowledge, skills, and value, able to strengthen institutional capacity for disease control and surveillance and bridge the gap in medical research in the Country.
The admission requirements into the undergraduate programmes of the Federal University of Health Sciences, Azare, shall be as follows:
All admissions into the University shall be through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB);
For admission to 100 Level (via UTME), candidates must: obtain five (5) credits at SSCE (or equivalent) in relevant subjects at not more than two (2) sittings, including credit passes in English Language and Mathematics; and attain acceptable points in UTME in relevant subjects;
Those who meet the requirements for admission shall be subjected to a screening interview to be conducted by the University; and 19
The University shall not accept transfer students until at least the first two years of its existence. In addition to meeting the general admission requirements, prospective students must also satisfy the faculty and departmental requirements.
Direct Entry Admission
For admission by direct entry (200 Level);
Candidates shall, in addition to having five (5) SSCE credits, obtain at least two (2) A’ level (or its equivalent) passes in relevant subjects, possess ND with credit passes, or possess a good first degree in another field as the case may be;
Those who meet the requirements for admission shall be subjected to a screening interview to be conducted by the University; and 19

They mean the scratch card you used in checking your O’level result.
Your academic credential is your O’level or A’level result and your ND/HND result for direct entry students.
Your birth and primary school certificates are not needed.

GOOD DAY MA pls i score 220 in JAMB and i have 9C in my NECO and i apply medicine in FUHSA as first choice, pls do i have assurance of getting the admition
You do not need to upload evidence of a change of institution. You’ll have to take it to the school. The only thing you need to upload is your O’level results.
Though 200 is the general cut-off mark for medicine, you may still not be admitted if you do not reach the decided cut-off mark at the end of the POST UTME exercise.
Pls. Ma is it necessary to upload o,level result again if one subject is not uploaded because one of the subject in my o,level result was not uploaded.

The possibility is there, but it is thin. It is dependent on if the POST UTME will be an exam or a screening. Getting a high score will better your chance.

All I can say at the moment is that you have a chance. But you’ll need a high POST UTME score to increase your chance. This score can be dependent on either your grades or exam score.
Ma did you said the sch. Is doing screening for 2021 jambite and on the news it was a combination of both screening and test pls which one is it b\w both and is there any possbility that 2022 post utme will be out by next month.

If you wrote JAMB in 2021, you should do the following
· Upload your O’level on JAMB CAPS or your admission will not be processed.
· Bring two thousand naira (N2,000.00) screening fee to the venue.
· Evidence of Change to the Course/Institution to FUHSA as first choice.
· Bring originals and photocopies of your academic credentials for the screening exercise.
· Bring one (1) passport photograph.
· Writing materials.
· Bring scratch cards of the O’level examination you are submitting.
What i understand here is that any one with jamb 2021 do not apply for post umte, but he/she will hold 2000 thousand naira for post utme registration to the school venue, and with all what the school needs for screening
And for jamb 2022 are not yet call but the but the portal might be open sometime

You have good grades but your score might be a stumbling block. But again, the school has not decided on the modus operandi of the exam. If it’s examination, you can make up for your JAMB score with a high POST UTME score.

The form is not yet out but I recommend you join a FUHSA group on Facebook so you’ll remain informed at all times.
Your score is low but it can still get you admitted if you have A high POST UTME score, or good WAEC grades.

For the POST UTME Examination, you’ll write an actual exam and be scored according to your performance in the exam whereas, if it’s a screening exercise, your WAEC grades or other credentials are used to assign a score to you.
It’s not true. There might not even be an examination. It might just be a screening. Please exercise patience until when the school discloses the modalities for the POST UTME.

If you wrote JAMB in 2021, you should do the following
· Upload your O’level on JAMB CAPS or your admission will not be processed.
· Bring two thousand naira (N2,000.00) screening fee to the venue.
· Evidence of Change to the Course/Institution to FUHSA as first choice.
· Bring originals and photocopies of your academic credentials for the screening exercise.
· Bring one (1) passport photograph.
· Writing materials.
· Bring scratch cards of the O’level examination you are submitting.
What i understand here is that any one with jamb 2021 do not apply for post umte, but he/she will hold 2000 thousand naira for post utme registration to the school venue, and with all what the school needs for screening

If a screening is done, and your SSCE grades are quite good, you can stand a greater chance of admission.
