    • Faith,

302 is low for Medicine, but it is possible if you get a high Post UTME score.

You will have to target 330 in your Post UTME.

Let me know if you have further questions.

  5. Sir,i’m Tosin Olowode from University of ibadan,i wish to study mbbs in year 2022 but due to my low jamb score 262. i was given Agric in ui. I accepted it with the hope of taking another jamb. I took 2023 jamb and i scored 238. I know it very low for mbbs. But can still take 2024 jamb? I’m 22 now. Would any university consider me for admission cuz i’m really passionate about mbbs.

    • Hi Tosin,

I understand your passion for studying MBBS (Medicine) and your concerns regarding your JAMB scores. .

Here are a few things you can consider:

      1. Retake JAMB: If you believe you can improve your JAMB score, it may be worth retaking the exam. Prepare thoroughly and utilize study resources to enhance your chances of obtaining a higher score. Taking the JAMB in 2024 could provide you with another opportunity to achieve a better result.

      2. Age is not a limitation: You can still apply to medicine even though you are 22 now.

      3. Explore alternative pathways: If your JAMB scores do not meet the minimum requirements for MBBS in Nigerian universities, you can consider other pathways to pursue your dream of studying medicine. Some universities offer pre-medical or foundation programs designed to prepare students for medical studies. These programs often have lower admission requirements, and upon successful completion, you can progress to the MBBS program.
