NIN is an eleven (11) digit code that stands for National Identification number.
The amount for the JAMB registration is four thousand and seven hundred naira (₦4,700).

National Identification Number (NIN)
The National Identification Number (NIN) is an eleven (11) digit code that is compulsory for the JAMB examination.
You can get your NIN number by visiting a registration centre that is close to you.
The requirement to get the NIN number for your JAMB registration is;
- Birth Certificate
- Local Government of Origin Certificate.
JAMB Profile Code
The JAMB profile code is a ten (10) digit number for the registration process.
You can generate your JAMB profile code by dialling *55019*1*NIN# or *66019*1*NIN# on your phone.
Generation of your JAMB profile code will cost you fifty naira (₦50).
Phone Number
You need a mobile phone number for the creation of your JAMB profile code.
Your phone number would also be used for filling your biodata.
Do not use the same phone number that you used for last year JAMB registration.
Email Address
A Google email address is a requirement for the creation of your JAMB profile.
You will use your email address and password to access your JAMB CAPS to accept your admission on the JAMB portal.

O’level/A’level Result
O’level is your senior secondary school leaving certificate result. An example is your WAEC and NECO results.
You can register for the JAMB examination using awaiting results if you are still in Senior Secondary School. You would be able to upload your result to the JAMB portal when your O’levl is out.
A’level result is an advance secondary school result for direct entry applicants.
JAMB E-pin
The JAMB ePin is a unique token you will purchase for your JAMB registration.
Here is a breakdown of the JAMB ePin.

- Reading Text = ₦500
- CBT Registration Fee = ₦700

JAMB biodata is a form that contains your personal information;
- First Name (Your Name)
- Last Name (Your Surname)

Go to a JAMB CBT centre.
Specify that you were sent the same code from last year JAMB registration.
You will be able to do your registration.
I don’t want to use same profile code for this year cos my name was not. Corresponding….. And if I go to cbt center will I be able to purchase my epin with profile code and continue for my registration
