UNN Post UTME Online Screening Exercise for Admission 2023/2024

The University of Nigeria hereby invites candidates who made UNN their first-choice institution in the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored 160 and above for the screening exercise.

Online Registration

Eligible candidates must pay a processing fee of ₦‎2,000 (Two thousand Naira only) through the Remita Platform at any Commercial bank.

The online registration commences on Friday, November 4, 2022, and ends at midnight on Wednesday, November 30, 2022.

  1. Process Flow for Post-UTME Registration
  2. Log on to the University Website: unn.edu.ng
  3. Click on the UNN portal (Top right corner of the Website)
  4. Click Prospective Students
  5. Select Online Application Form for the 2022/2023 Admission Screening Exercise
  6. Enter JAMB Registration Number
  7. Generate Invoice
    • Proceed to the bank for Payment or pay using your ATM Card
    • Return to Portal
  8. Re-enter JAMB Registration Number
  9. Complete Date of Birth and all other blank fields
  10. Enter verified O/Level Subjects and Grades (also provide your Centre and Examination Number. Note: Awaiting Results candidates should list their SSCE subjects)
  11. Re-enter your grades correctly
  12. Upload Certificates (Ensure that their sizes are not above 100KB)
    • Birth Certificate
    • Local Government Identification
    • Testimonial
    • First School Leaving Certificate
    • JAMB Result Slip
    • O/Level 1
    • O/Level 2 (For double sitting candidates)
  13. Click the NEXT button
  14. Review the Summary Page and check that all details entered are correct.
  15. Check the CONFIRMATION BOX below
  16. Click SUBMIT
  17. Print Acknowledgement Slip.

Direct entry candidates for 2022/2023 who made UNN their first choice institution should also register for the screening

The screening exercise for the 2022/2023 academic session shall be by assessing verified JAMB UTME, O/Level and Direct Entry results in place of the P-UTME CBT examination. 

Any candidate who fails to upload the verified O/Level results at CAPS at record time shall not be considered for admission.

    And I calculated my aggregate and it turned out to be 316.8
    I want to study Mechanical engineering in UNN.
    Will I be able to get admission in mechanical engineering????

    I have a question.
    My POST UTME REGISTRATION DOCUMENTS have slightly different names in it.
    What I mean is, my FIRST SCHOOL LEAVING CERTIFICATE has the name ARUKWE CHUKWUEMEKA .L. in it.
    While the other documents like JAMB RESULT SLIP, BIRTH CERTIFICATE and the rest has the name ARUKWE CHUKWUEMEKA LEKWACHI.
    Will this difference in my names affect my chances of getting admission?????
