The high competition for Medicine and Surgery is why admission to the MBBS programme is not easy.
Every admission year, thousands of students apply for the JAMB examination to study Medicine and Surgery in Nigeria.

You will get the admission if you meet the cut off mark. It is the most important factor that determines your admission chances.
But I can only afford fees for a federal university and I learnt that most or even all federal uni uses o level results to calculate aggregate score. That’s why I choose uniuyo all I need to know is if that o level result can earn me admission so that I will know what to do while registering for jamb next year.

Not all Federal Universities use O’level for admission processing.
Your O’level result grade would reduce your chances for admission because of the C’s.

To calculate your aggregate score, you will need to add up the points for each of your subjects. For example, if you have six A1s in your O’Level (WAEC) results, then your aggregate score would be 36.
UNIUYO uses aggregate scores to determine admission into its various programs. The minimum aggregate score required for admission varies from program to program. However, most programs require a minimum aggregate score of 25.
