The resumption date for the University of Uyo (UNIUYO) for the 2020/2021 academic session is 12th July 2021.
The Senate of the University of Uyo (UNIUYO) at its 12th meeting held on Thursday, July 1, 2021, approved the commencement of academic activities for the 2020/2021 academic sessions for regular students.
Accordingly, the management of the University of Uyo hereby announces the resumption of the academic activities by the University Senate, as follows;
Academic activities for all regular students to the University of Uyo shall commence on Monday, July 12.
Registration without penalty for regular students shall be from Monday, 12 to Friday, July 30 2021 (three weeks).
Lecturers for freshers and returning undergraduate/postgraduate students shall commence on Monday, July 19, 2021, and end on Friday, October 15, 2021 (13 weeks).
Registration with penalty shall commence on Monday, August 30 to Friday, September 3, 2021.
Revision exercises for the first semester 2020/2021 session examinations for all regular students will commence from Monday, October 11, 2021, to Friday, October 15, 2021.
First semester examinations for all regular students will be for three (3) weeks from Monday, October 18 to Friday, November 05, 2021.
A three (3) weeks break from the first semester 2020/2021 session for all regular students of the University of Uyo, will be observed from Monday, November 08 to Friday, November 26, 2021.
Students are expected to ensure that they complete all registration requirements for the first semester 2020/2021 academic session on schedule.
Failure to do so will be considered as evidence of voluntary withdrawal from the university by the student.
