National Orthopedic Hospital Enugu Admission Form 2024

This is to inform the general public that applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates into the College of Nursing Sciences, National Orthopaedic Hospital, Enugu, for:

• General Nursing program
• Basic Midwifery program
• Orthopaedic Nursing program
• Burns and Plastic Nursing Program

Entry Requirements

General Nursing & Basic Midwifery

1. Candidates must be at least 16 years of age.
2. Candidates must possess the Senior Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent (SSCE, NECO, NABTEB, GCE) with a minimum of five (5) credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in not more than two sittings.
3. Birth Certificate/declaration of age (Not Baptism Card)
4. Testimonial from the last school attended.
5. Marriage Certificate (if married)
6. Original/photocopies of all relevant documents will be sighted during an interview.
7. Three (3) recent passport photographs
8. Mode of identification (NIN, PVC, Drivers License, International Passport).

Post Basic Programmes

Post Basic Candidates should submit their basic Nursing Certificates/Licenses in addition to above requirements.

Method of Application

1. The sale of form commences from 2nd October, 2023 at the College of Nursing Complex, NOH, Enugu.
2. Admission Form/examination fee of ₦16,500 to be paid into National Orthopaedic Hospital, Enugu TSA account via Remita.
3. Generation of RRR can be done at the office of the College Bursar, or generated online via http://www.remitta.net and follow the directives – Pay TSA & State – FGN – National Orthopaedic Hospital, Enugu – POS collection. Indicate “College of Nursing Science Form” as a description.
4. Visit the School with the evidence of payment and collect the application form from the registrar (office is open Monday to Friday, 8 am-4 pm).
5. Application form can also be completed online via http://www.consnohe.org.ng.
6. Completed forms should be returned to the College on or before 30th October 2023.
7. The subjects for the entrance examination include Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
8. Details of the examination and interview will be communicated upon the return of the completed forms.

Exam & Interview Dates

• Date: 1st – 7th November 2023
• Time: 9.00 am daily.

Note

Candidates are to bring along with them the original receipt of payment and all relevant documents. Candidates for the Post Basic Nursing are to bring along their practicing Licenses.

Only candidates who possess entry requirements and pass the Entrance Examination will be eligible for interview.
